My husband is due his PIP renewal as it runs out Jan 2018.
Today received a PIP 1043 form, is this the same as a AR1 form? It mentions its a renewal, the questions relate to easier, harder etc like a AR1, so is it the same as a AR1 or is it a new form?

There's a sample AR1 form in the PIP section, but from your description it sounds like one.
Unfortunately, like the PIP2 the DWP refer to the form by name but don't include it on the form, just a reference number!
