2nd PIP f2f assessment was created by sue101
Went to my PIP f2f assessment with Capita 10 days ago.
Today I received a letter from Capita for another f2f in 3 weeks time. I phoned DWP and they knew nothing about it and hadn't had anything from Capita at all. I phoned Capita and they said that there had been a computer problem and the data had all been lost. They said they tried to retrieve the file but couldn't so I had to have another f2f and said they were really sorry.
The assessor did not appear to have any problems with her laptop and read a lot of what she typed in back to me. At the end she just said DWP would let me know the outcome. No mention of computer problems.
I am just totally speechless. Bad enough having one assessment let alone two.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
Unfortunately your claim cannot progress unless the DWP receive an assessment report.
You can make a complaint to Capita
www.capita-pip.co.uk/en/complaints.html
You could also push for a home assessment if it would be easier for you.

Stay positive. You know what to expect so no suprises. I know the f2f is a pain, but look at it as a chance to maybe put your case better, think about how it went last time and anything you could do better or put across clearer.

Thanks. I just needed a bit of moral support.
You're right, of course. I know just what to expect now and I did kick myself for the things I didn't mention first time round, so I will be much better prepared for the next one.
