ESA50 not filled up enough, can I amend it before was created by hev65
Hi,
I have only joined this group yesterday. I am claiming ESA atm and have my F2F Feb 14th. This is the 1st time I have claimed benefits so didn't really know what I was supposed to put in my ESA50.
To cut a long story short when I filled it in I only put a few short sentences to answer the questions like suffering with anxiety cant go out alone due to panic attacks, you get my drift.
I am stressing as I have read that the information I put on the form will in part to work out my entitlement, and as I have basically wrote nothing I am worrying I am going to fail before I even go to the F2F.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Hev,
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
You can add more information and take it with you to the assessment - ask the assessor to read it before they start and they should do so (unless you have taken hundreds of pages!).
As you say, this information will play an integral part in the assessment process.
Our ESA guide explains the criteria against which you are being assessed and also what to expect on the day.
ESA claims and appeals
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your ESA without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too
Edit -
By the way, there is no need to post multiple messages. There will always be a delay before your appears as it will be read and approved by a moderator before being published. This can take a while even when the forum is officially open.
I have deleted your duplicate message so that all replies are kept in one place for you.
