Request for PIP home assessment was created by Loubs
Hello all,
I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong area but I am struggling to view the forum properly on my phone.
I am just completing my PIP form and would like to request a home assessment on the grounds of extreme anxiety, depression and pain from Fibromyalgia.
Are there any tips on how to word the request so that it is not just dismissed by them please? Just the thought of having to travel and attend the meeting is panicking me already.
Many thanks for any help,
Louise

If you want a home assessment then you will need your GP to write to the Assessment Provider explaining why you cannot attend at their offices.

Thank you Gordon. I have completed the forms etc and they will be going off recorded delivery in the morning. I will get the GP to write me a letter in the meantime as she takes around 2 weeks to do this and I don't want to hold up the other paperwork.
