Good evening
I am new to this group so bear with me please. I have been on ESA since 2012. I went for my assessment last December and had a phonecall today from the DWP to say that someone would call me next week to advise me of the outcome. My question to the group is Is this normal practice? If I dont seak to them on the phone then they will automatically write to me.
Any feedback would be appreciated
Many thanks

I'm afraid the most usual cause for such a call is to inform the claimant that they have failed to receive an award and to find out if anything has been missed that would change the Decision, I would produce a short list of reasons as to why you think that you meet the criteria for ESA and keep it by the phone for when they call.
