DLA to PIP Transfer was created by sam
Dear, Sir,
I have brown evenolop come through informing me of my DLA coming to end and have to apply PIP for the first time.
I am on ESA suport group at present and also getting middle and higer rate DLA for getting around please can you guide me through this procces as i am very streesed
with my illness and to deal with this issue
secondly if the claimate is on PIP enherance rate for getting around would that have any effect on their driving can one drive car as normal if safe to do so.
as when invited to face to face interview if asked do you drive what to say as i am not sure
I have to apply by 1st march i do not understand how to fill all forms HELP PLEASE

Please have a look at our PIP Claim guide it explains the PIP process in detail including the information you will need to make a claim and the criteria that you will need to meet for an award and how to complete the claim form when you receive it.
Be aware that the PIP assessment process is very different from DLA and it is a lot more difficult to receive an award.

There will be assumptions about your capabilities if you drive, the best way to deal with this is to explain how you manage to drive in the claim form rather than allowing the assessor to make assumptions.

Hello Gordon i am trying to fill PIP 1003 40 pages form i need your help please i am getting
higer dla for heip and getting around .
i had back injry at work place in year 2000 and i was also awrded 50% industrial disibility, but i did have back slip discs for which i had surgery i have some hospitals letters and reports
would it help if i send as evedence of cronic back pain and face to face helth profission report done in year 2008 but have not been sine by her as have moved adress would that help Please advise many thanks

If that's all you have then it's all you can send, spend some time explaining how your conditions affect you now in comparison to how they did when the reports were produced.
Have you spoken to your GP about the help they might be able to provide?

Hi Gordon thank you for your feed back. Yes i have spoken to my G P requesting her to make a report on how my dissibility is effecting me waitting to see her again but hower ever i have had further health conditions since 2011 to till now i have had problem with ma Hip athatris/ nhees ,Gastrocic stomach hitus hernia dignoused by the hospital angina pain causing chest pain when walking breathless and on 17th feb i had angiogram finding of three blocage in atries have increased medications and follow up with hospital appointments.
Would it help if send all my hospitial Discharge summery for all the above helth conditions
for wnen i have been it the hospital or not please advise thanks
