Home medicals for PIP and ESA, what's your experie was created by Bill24chev
For attention of Mods
My experience may be of interst for the above surveys.
I have not had or witnesses an ESA/WCA or PIP assessment carried out at home, but have had two assessments for War Disablement Pension carried out by ATOS HCP's ( Doctors) at home and they qwere less stressfull thanwhat my Wife and Son experienced for ESA & PIp at an ATOS or Maximus centre.
All WDP assessments are caried out at home by ATOS
In the first WDP assessment I received the level of award I expected. In the second the Doctors observations in her report meet my expected out come but tghe MOD decision maker decided to award an increased award but less that I believe I warranted. This is the subject of an ongoing review/Appeal.
I have set out below answers to Q9 of the PIP survey as they were for my WDP asswessment. I hope this is useful to you.
Had clearly read my claim pack and any other evidence beforehand Strongly agree
Clearly understood my conditions and how they were likely to affect me Agree
Gave me time to answer questions Agree
Listened carefully to what I said Stronglyagree
Their spoken English was easy to understand Agree

I was going to have one too but they went to telephone saying too sick to bother me and had only three questions
I could see why the questions where needed and was easy to answer the person gave me time to work through the answers they where nce to talk to and no stress
I got higher higher with 24 care points 22 mobility had I not been asked questions still would have got award ?
