ATOS Assessors not submitting reports was created by Essentialmnb
Just looking for some advice. My husband had his assessment a couple of weeks ago and was told that the report would be sent off at the end of the day. However today we get a phone call from ATOS saying that he has been booked in for another assessment.
When i asked why they told me the person who did his assessment has not sent in their report and has now gone on sick leave so they have to re-do the assessment.
Has anyone else had this experience?
What should we do next?

I'm afraid we see this far too often although there actually being a reason is unusual.
I'm afraid you really have no choice, your husband's claim will not progress unless the DWP receive an assessment report and if the assessor is unable to do this then they have no choice but to hold a second assessment.
You can make a complaint
www.atoshealthcare.com/pip/after_your_Consultation
and it might give you leverage to force a home assessment.
