Taking your recorder and tape to a tribunal is probably not a good idea.
It would be better if you prepared a typed transcript of the recording and submit that well in advance to the Tribunal. The Tribunal could then give a direction for the actual tape to be presented at the tribunal preferably both your copy and DWP copy should be provided to confirm transcript is as per the recording..
Obviously you only need to submit the transcript if there are discrepencies between the Assessment report and what was actually said at the assessment.
If you submit the transcript it is evidence and the tribunal must give reasons why they either refused to accept the evidence or prefered the HCp's report. Failiure to do so would probably be an "Error of Law" giving the right to a UT appeal.
