Yes, me too
Last week, I had the letter stating that indefinite DLA was ending soon, now to apply for PIP.
Next day, I receive a form (there was me thinking that they were being efficient and sending the PIP2 out!!!) & it was 'your support group ESA is ending, please reapply'.
My husband phoned both sections to ask for extension but got nowhere, esp with ESA.
So, now no choice but to force my body through pain & fatigue and just get on with it.
(I'm already taking my evening painkillers at 2pm)
Rather stressed!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Les
There is no extension available for the ESA50 but you should be able to arrange a two week extension to the time given to complete the PIP2.

Had DLA- PIP yesterday, was waiting 45 minutes before assessor finally came out. Only because I was inconsolable with anxiety and pain and my mother had been to reception. I was told in a very curt and sinister way, that the delay was due to her reading everything. I told her I was feeling a bad vibe from her and explained my mother had not complained about the wait, merely expressed concern to receptionist.
She asked me then in a rather angry way, whether idclike another assessor?...then turned to my mother to ask if she thought she was being off in her manner too?......my mother agreed that her manner was curt. The assessor then asked her in a curt, childish way if she thought we should get another assessor? My mother told her we had waited long enough and to just begin the task.
I was full of anxiety/pain and weeping, still. She then said she might need to cut the session altogether?
I was asked if I went to mainstream school, took exams etc? I began to wonder what this had to do with my health etc?
The question on when did I last drive? I couldn't think by this point. Drained is understatement. I can't help but speculate that my ESA will be decided on this assessment also? I've still not heard from them?
I will be seeking the backing of my local MP to complain about the disgusting treatment/attitude/contempt treatment I endured.

Sorry to hear this, I got extension only with PIP as Gordon has now advised you.
Still waiting for ESA to respond to form. It was returned a week before PIP? I wish you luck with your fight ahead.

PIP Decisions are taking 2-4 weeks at the moment.
You should be able to request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the office dealing with your claim.
