I have been in receipt of DLA for approx 15 years. Had my face to face and lost all my benefits for PIP. I have requested a mandatory reconsideration and they have now asked for proof of my age. Has anyone else come across this and if so why after 15 years when they have had my date of birth.

The only reason I can think of is whether you are around the age of 65, but this should not actually matter for an MR.

many thanks for your reply. I will be 63 in May so will have to wait and see what they say. It just seemed strange after all these years when they knew my age
