PIP and ESS was created by AlexG
Hi,
I was just wondering,
I had my ESA medical and kept on the top group in approx October last year.
I have had my PIP (asking if anything had changed) form also sent out and filled in and posted back to them about 8 weeks ago. (Still awaiting a response).
Could you tell me if the assessors at the PIP look at your ESA decision in any way. I have been sitting waiting on a response from them, but I am to worried to get back to them and ask ( I was advised to contact them thru email ) I can't do that either as I just can't bring myself to do it.
Thanks
P

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

They may and they may not, you won't really know until after a Decision is made.
Although there are areas of overlap between ESA and PIP the criteria are different, so the results of your ESA claim may not actually be relevant to your PIP claim.

Thanks Gordon.
I think that these new rules may effect me. I am looking on site to see how much they do.
Thanks to you guys, it's great to know more details about what they are up to. We are just numbers to them.
Thanks
