Gordon
Thank you for your advice and stuff about their assumptions.
Letters updating the respective CHDA/DWP etc about my current deteriation have been sent and letters in support from mental health crisis team are being drafted and hopefully support letter from GP when I see GP on Friday.
Thanks

What does this letter mean?
I sent letters 4th July 2017 telling CHDA/DWP etc my conditions had severely deteriated. Just that type of letter from me, but not letters from GP, Psychiatrist, etc as I only took receipt of them on Friday 7th July.
Saturday morning 8/7/17 I received letter from CHDA: dated 6th July 2017
Important - we have cancelled your appointment.
We asked you to attend an assessment at 9am, 18th July 2017
We no longer need you to come for this assessment. Please do not come to this assessment as this appointment has been cancelled.
If you want to discuss your claim to benefit or
Need more information about why you no longer need this assessment contact jobcentre plus office that deals with your claim your claim for benefit.
As I say I only sent my letters about severe deteriation etc on 4th July 2017 but not supporting letters because only just got them. Checked track and trace all signed for.
Have they cancelled the rearranged 18th July appointment and new appointment being made by them again.
I'm currently ESA Support Group income related with disability premium etc payment due tomorrow.
Is this something to do with wrag or something or telling me I should claim JSA.
I am totally unaware of what's happening and it just adds to my MH conditions.
Is it possible for you to explain the meaning of the letter.

Based on what you have posted I think that they have been able to do a Paper Based Review.
You cannot be found Fit for Work without attending a face to face so they are recommending WRAG or SG.

Which type of esa will I know they have placed me in as I am unable to deal with the DWP over the phone querying benefits etc. Stated this in my current esa form and to only write to me and contact me about my claim etc.
Currently in esa (sg), by applying a paper based review is it possible for them to place me in wrag? With my multiple MH conditions I meet the SG descriptors and should not be in wrag. If they return a wrag decision how do I oppose any decision like that. And is that just basic wrag rate like jsa.
As there was no supporting evidence letters etc submitted with my esa form, would it be advantageous to now send the GP/Psychiatric/MH Crisis Team letters, to DWP/Maximus to substantiate the information I sent about my severe deteriation. Plus I am still being visited at home every day by the MH Crisis Team.
Plus the consultant psychiatrist has diagnosed me as having a further MH condition that obviously I couldn't name on the original esa form submitted. Combine this with Adult Speech Dyspraxia and it makes 2 new conditions not listed on the original esa form. Plus referral by a Clinical Psychologist, who I see again on Friday, to other psychological services.
Sorry if this is does not makes sense as I just don't know what's going on.

I did say that the WRAG was a possibility. Let's wait and see whether it happens before discussing how to deal with it.
If they have done a PBR then there is no point in sending any more information to Maximus/CHDA as they will have returned your file to the DWP, you need to send any further evidence to the DWP office dealing with your claim, marked for the attention of the Decision Maker. You have a 2-4 week window to do this, so sooner is better than later. Doing this may result in your Decision being delayed, as the DM may need to refer your file back to the assessor.

Hi
With my mental health already repeatedly worsening again prior to receipt of the esa renewal form, I have just gone through 4 months of hell !!
Saturday morning the dreaded brown envelope arrived due to the invaluable advice given by the moderators alongside access to the members guides etc.
Having my esa medical cancelled by chda and told no need to attend for assessment, I have been placed in the ESA Support Group. Was in sg beforehand and was convinced everything would be negative despite substantial deteriation in my MH and being diagnosed with 2 other disorders I didn't even know I had.
So do I ask for a subject access request or something like that to get receipt of all the decision makers documents documenting the paper based review, SG, length of award etc etc.
Who do I write to to ask for the respective paperwork etc as I can't handle ringing up about benefits from the DWP I always write using special delivery etc.
Not forgetting Gordon, Mrs Hurtyback, and all the work of B&W, a massive, massive, thank you for your guidance and especially the time you take to help people who need it at very difficult times in their lives.
Thank you all.
