If you could give me a rough guide on how long before I will be notified if I need a f2f after they have received my completed ESA50? It says they may contact you to arrange a f2f appointment with a a Healthcare Professional. Does this mean they could ring instead of sending through the post? Really appreciate all your help and advice. I would be lost without you fab mods.

I'm afraid the ESA assessment process is extremely variable at the moment. It could be week, it could months, some areas are still experiencing delays of nearly a year.
If you have an existing award then this remains in payment until a new Decision is made.

Hi. I emailed DWP today to find out where they were with my ESA reassessment which I returned end of April17. They emailed back to say they had written to my GP for further info and depending on their reply, whether I would need a f2f. I am really worried as I went to see another GP in my surgery telling them about being reassessed for ESA and asked them to contact me if this happened and they haven't. Can you point me in the right direction to what has been sent to my GP? I really appreciate your help.

It will likely be an ESA113. See

Thank you Gordon. I have asked the receptionist at my GP surgery if I could make an appointment with the GP b4 them completing the DWP form but they said no. I am concerned as I have several chronic conditions including, ME, Fybromyalgia, Faceal incontinence, Pudenal Neuralgia, Osteoarthritis, Depression, Anxiety, Carpel Tunnel in both arms and wrists amongst other conditions. My GP is aware of the conditions but I have never discussed how they affect me, which I explained on my ESA50 form. The form sent to my GP asks them how conditions affect me and what would enable me to find work etc. My medical records would not show this as I am sure the majority of members on this site discuss the relevant condition with the appropriate NHS consultant and not in the 7 minute appointment with their GP. Having several chronic conditions has a detrimental knock on effect on fatigue, pain etc. Can I get a copy of the GP report and if so do I have to wait for until I get a notice of a f2f or decision letter?

You should be able to get a copy of the report as soon as it has been sent by contacting your GP surgery.
