WCA /Fit note was created by Maxpain
If after WCA I get deemed Fit for work, then sign on for JSA/UC, but still have a fit note for 8 weeks Is it advisable not to tel the job centre this ?(or they may feel Iam not ready for work) Or do they simply overlook it..? Is it advisable NOT to sign on for JSA While going through Mandatory Recon. Or doest it make a difference..? How long does the Mandatory Recon. take on average..?

If you present a Fit Note when claiming JSA then your claim will be rejected, you have to declare yourself as Fit for Work before they will accept you onto JSA.
However, once your claim has been accepted and is in payment then you can present a new Fit Note and be excused from your Claimant Commitment for up to 13 weeks.
UC operates in a different manner.
Whether to claim JSA/UC is up to you but you will not be entitled to any other benefit at this time.
Mrs usually take 5-8 weeks, they can be as quick as a couple of weeks and at the other extreme they can take 2-4 months.

Thank-you for your help.So the WCA and decision from DWP "overides The Doctors Fit Note..? Iam best to say nothing about having a fit note..?
Sign back on then take it from there.Of course I may get put into WRAG Group..But feel this is Highly unlikely .
Its actually took 13 Months to get to this WCA. I came off CWP before going to ESA. could they refer me Back..?

No and yes. It remains the GPs Decision whether you are Fit for Work or not, however, for ESA purposes a Fit for Work Decision does mean that the DWP will no longer accept a Fit Note as proof that your Unfit for Work unless you can show a new condition or a deterioration in your current condition likely to result in an award of ESA.
