Hello Folks.....

We recieved our M.R. Decision last Friday, and as expected it was a " No Change " on our P.I.P. Benefit, so its off to Appeal we go, and I have downloaded the form over the weekend, and started to fill it in, and most of it is easy enough, BUT, I'm not quite sure exactly what to write in the " Grounds for Appeal " box. Simply because my Wife has MANY ongoing medical problems, and they are all quite complex, and I have already explained them in Exact and Accurate Detail, MANY times on previous forms I've submitted with this P.I.P. Claim. So, is there an " Example Letter " or something similar I could use on here, which would help me. Any Advice would be appreciated......Thank You.......

The PIP Submissions guide has a completed example SSCS1 that you can use to help you fill it in.

Found a LOT of interesting information in the " Submissions Guide " yesterday, put an enormous amount of it into the " Grounds for Appeal" section on the form, and also added another 2 pages of additional Information too. Letter will be posted today ( Wed ) 1st Class Recorded Delivery, and hope for the best now, is all we can do. Out of curiousty, does anyone know if there is a time limit on how long it can take for an appeal to be heard.......

There is no time limit, averages waits are around 3-4 months but we do occasionally hear from members who have waited a lot longer.

Thanks Gordon......Actually that 3-4 Months might well help me, as I'm chasing up Specialists all over the place, for my Wife to get reports in writing from them, but its hard work, and VERY time consuming, But as soon as I get any, I am going to send them off ASAP.....Fingers Crossed, methinks........Roy...
