Finally a decision!!

3 months to the day since DWP acknowledged receipt of my completed PIP form I received a letter stating that a home assessment would occur in a further 2 weeks (Even though I never requested or expected a Home Visit) 4 days later I received a further letter from DWP stating that my case had been reviewed, the Home Assessment was no longer required and that they would contact me at a later date. Exactly 1 month later the dreaded brown envelope arrived, and I was delighted and relieved to read that I had been awarded the Enhanced rate in both Care and Mobility, the relief that this cruel procedure was finally concluded cannot be put into words. This was achieved by both my partner and I reading and rereading your guide and fully taking the advice given on board - THANK YOU!!
