Just received text saying dwp have all my forms re has anything changed. But that they may need to have me seen again by a health professional. I thought the award ran for the 2 years I was given?? Can they stop it half way through. I am actually worse and sent them medical evidence of this yet they still say they might need to do a further assessment face to face. Please can you shed any light??
Nearly all PIP awards are being reassessed a year in advance of the current award ending.
Although you have reported your conditions as worsening there may still be questions as to how you are affected on a day by day basis, unless you can provide addition evidence and testimony to answer those questions then it's likely that you will be required to attend a face to face.
