Hi everyone hope you are okay. When I first finished work I offered 2 hours voluntary work at the local hospice, basically being a bedside companion to patients at the end of life, giving relatives time to take a break. There was nothing physical involved as I cant so much as carry a cup of tea across a room. I was basically there for reassurance and comfort when no one else was available. When I applied for ESA I understood maybe voluntary work may be viewed as able to work and so I haven't been for several months and miss it. I have been put in the support group with a condition that will not improve. Would this be viewed as able to work as I would love to go back for 2 hours per week? made me feel less like I had been put on the scrapheap because I couldn't do my job any longer. Thank you
