hi DorothyGate,
Thanks.
I got the brown envelope this morning. I only scan read it. Some of the points were fair/true. A couple weren't though.
I actually did get some points in both sections but very minimal (I think 2 or 4 in the first, and 4 in the second).
If I am honest I was probably always a borderline case. PIP rules seem to be much more strict on mobility compared to DLA, and it seems unless you are basically dragging yourself across the floor you are going to struggle to get a mobility award. Although there is the issue of after-effects re. ME/CFS which of course is largely ignored. Have been out today for instance but will have to go to bed now for a few hours to recover. I think as regards PIP as long as I could get to the corner shop and back once a day thats it. (Actually I can't every day but thats another point).
It has still been a shock though.
I hope you fair better Dorothygate.
HurtyBack, I am still considering whether to ask for reconsideration but don't know if I can face all the mental application - it took loads to do the original form, medical assessment, etc. If it was ESA there is no doubt in my mind I would go to appeal. But less sure it would be worth it with PIP.
Thanks.

You have a little time to mull things over, you don't have to decide straight away.
