Just an update with regard to some excellent advice a few months ago. Following Gordons advice I went to the CAB who assisted me with a claim for carers premium for my wife and I. Today I received a phone call from a DWP manager to say that the claim had been allowed, this became ESA(IR)top up. Having now got the IR element gave us the SDP premium all of which was back dated to febuary. So a very big thank you to Gordon for explaining the complexities and and his most excellent advice
