The date of my first PIP payment arrived - and went ! I delayed making contact with DWP just in case the banking system had delayed it showing up on my statement. As this was not the case, I telephoned and was after checking, the adviser asked me to confirm whether or not I was in a 'home' ! It transpired that was what had been written in my records at some stage. I was told the information would be rectified and I was also asked whether or not I'd applied for Pension Credit Guarantee Credit. I said no as it had been refused in the past. It was suggested I complete and return the form which would be sent to me. So, in the first instance, the monies was in my account 3 banking days later. As for the second, I have been granted the Guarantee Credit because I am in receipt because in addition to the mobility element of PIP, I was also awarded the Daily Needs Allowance. I also live on my own and no-one receives Carers Allowance. Hope the above helps others.
