Not sure if this can be answered here. Am trying to make some money as a writer, in addition to my benefits.
Can someone tell me how much money can be earned, per week/month, via working, before benefits are affected? Including housing benefit?

If the work is treated as Permitted Work then it should have no effect on your benefits. If not then your working can actually effect your entitlement to those benefits as you can be considered as being in remunerative work.
There is a guide to PW in the ESA section.

This wouldn’t be ongoing work. Just any money accrued through seeking the odd few novellas uploaded onto Amazon?
