Whilst the guidance for PIP is quite clear about how an appointee can speak on behalf of the claimant, this is not the case for ESA, so you will need to play it by ear on the day. Some assessors will welcome the input of the appointee but I'm afraid others will refuse any input and may curtail the interview if you insist on speaking. If this happens then make a formal complaint.
