Has anyone had there PIP assessments cancelled? My daughter has has 2 appointments cancelled by telephone, and the third we arrived today at the assessment centre 1 hour away, waited for 2 hours only to be told they couldn't see her today as it was too late, our appointment was at 3pm, and at 16.50 the receptionist ( a young lady) came out to speak to us, she was very sorry, the assessor didn't even show his face. My daughter had been getting herself worked up all day, the whole experience was very traumatic. We were then told we would be seen end of Jan 18, after a fuss they found an appointment on 29/12, at the centre an hour away. I took the day off to take her, which was unnecessary.Has anyone had the same thing happen.

My full name is showing, how can I stop it? I'm afraid it is quite common, they overbook the asssessors diaries because of the number of claimants that fail to attend, but regularly get caught out by doing so.
