From high rate care & low rate mobility indefinite flagging to zero points following home visit.
Decision makers notes seem to suggest that the medical report contains many inaccuracies and several out right lies.
I had four people read the report having deleted the name and nobody recognised it was for my husband - whom they are all carers for.
I rang on 7th December and requested a copy of the face to face assessment, I foolishly didn’t take the lady’s name but so have the call logged. I rang back on the 14th to be told it will be with you any day. I rang back on the 18th to be told there was no record of my calling, no record of my requesting the report but they promised to send ASAP.
Decision made 4th December letter arrived 13th Decemberr, Christmas and new year now leave little time to gather fresh evidence for mandatory reconsideration.
Frustrated and cross.
Any tips or sympathy greatly received- merry Christmas x
The important thing is to request the MR within the one month, you can tell them in your request that you will be sending additional information and they should allow you a further 4 weeks to gather and send your additional information in, although this includes postage time so try and have everything sent by the end of the third week.
