My medical was carried out by a physiotherapist. I have reported significant pain in my legs, but the report plays this down and I have been scored zero points. I am thinking that the HCP would not be sufficiently qualified to give an expert opinion. I was wondering if there was a way to check this or if I was best to suggest they are not qualified and leave the tribunal service to show they are, if they are qualified.
You cannot presume that the assessor is not trained to carry our a proper assessment of your problems, you may be able to show this by referencing the report with specific examples of their conclusions, that an assessor with more training would not have made but as they were a physiotherapist I would have expected them to have some knowledge of pain and it's effects.
