DLA to PIP

Hi lovely members - my husband is in higher rate for both in DLA but had reached the age of 65 and has had no notification to appt for PIP. Does anyone know if he will just continue receiving DLA or be expected to still change to PIP even though he is over the age of 65 - TIA - Susie

Hello Susan,

Even though your husband is now 65 he will still be asked to change to PIP at some point. Only those who were 65 or older at a date in April 2013 will not be transferred and will contiue to receive DLA whilst they are sill eligible.
