DLA to PIP

My DLA has been renewed every February - it is an indefinite award. I was expecting this month to receive the invitation to apply for PIP because of the March 2018 deadline. Does this mean I will keep the DLA award for another 12 months until January/February 2019 or can DWP invite me to apply for PIP at any time during the year?

The 2018 deadline has been moved back to next year and that still seems optimistic given the progress to date. Claimants are being chosen at random, so your invitation could arrive tomorrow or in a couple of years.
