Please can someone help!!!! I've moved house and Drs and am terrified the DWP will stop my benefits. Ive moved areas from Sheffield to north Derbyshire. I've got severe mental health problems and moving made me really ill. We moved in October to be closer to my family who help with my care as I also have physical problems. I wasn't able to cope with the move and it made me psychotic. I can't cope with new places or leaving the house so had to stay with my mum as I'm also in a lot of pain and spend much of my time in bed. I had to get introduced to the house slowly because I couldn't understand it was my new house and kept asking when I could go home(meaning my old house). Therefore it didn't even occur to me to tell them I'd moved. I've now moved in permanently but I don't know what to do about contacting DWP. I have enhanced PIP and support group ESA. I'm so scared of them it's starting to make me ill again. I don't know whether to write with an explanation as to why it's taken me so long to inform them or just ring and explain. Because it's making me ill if I write I'll be worrying the entire time. Will they stop my benefits for moving house? Please please can someone advise me on what to do and what will happen. I'm in a constant panic because they absolutely terrify me. I've been awarded pip until 2020

Moving won't effect your benefits, but you must tell the DWP about this because they will send anything important to your old address and if you don't receive it then this can effect your claims.
