What is a statement of reasons?

Hi,
What is a statement of reasons please and should I ask for this before sending in my MR for PIP?
I have a copy of the assessors report and my award letter but no SOR, have I missed out a step?

A SoR is an explanation by the decision maker (a DM or Judge), about how they made the Decision and why.

Your MR is in regard to a PIP claim so you have already received the DM's SoR as part of the Decision Letter.
