Hi everyone just a quick question am I right in my understanding that
As long as your fit notes carry on from each other and you get them to the DWP they have to pay, they can't stop your claim just for a late fit note.

They can suspend your claim so that nothing is paid until they get the fit note -(and say they will stop your payments)- but your claim is still ongoing.

And once they get the fit note they have to pay for the period it covers, even if it was late?

many thanks :)

Yes, you need an active Fit Note on the ESA payment system to enable payment, failing to do so or being late, just prevents payment it does not close your claim.
