Appealing against the DWP decision was created by Lol57
Can anyone please tell me whether I could appeal against part of the DWP's decision or is it just all of it?
For example can I appeal against the daily living component decision, but not include the mobility component?

Have you completed an MR?

For an MR the DWP will look at the whole award, you can ask that they only look at one part but they won't listen to you.

For an appeal you should be able to limit the panel's deliberations to just one component.

Thank you
Yes i asked for a reconsideration.
Initially I didn't receive higher mobility. so was due to lose our motability car, and i didn't receive enough daily living component points for standard rate. So was due to lose carer's allowance as well.
After receiving a letter from the Carer's unit, it seemed as though i was going to receive higher mobilty but not any daily living.
As it turned out I received the DWP reconsideration letter today, and the brilliant news is, I received higher rate for both daily living and mobility!
Thank you so much to everyone involved in producing the guides. Without them I would have lost everything and gave up.
