I was under the impression all claimants were to be on the pip claim register by end September 2017?? We are in hull East Riding Yorkshire and I had my letter and transferred to high rate pip during 2016 , I'm age 60 and was on indefinite dvla award, as is my husband who is age 67. However , he has not received a letter to transfer/apply for pip as yet? We are going on holiday soon and as last year, are scared the letter will arrive while we're away and if we haven't time to ring and apply on return, he will get everything stopped! He's even more disabled than me and we are just suffering more and more stress as time goes on which is making us worse still! Can anyone tell us what's happening with the timescale or backlogs etc please ?.
The project has been delayed to late 2019 and this still seems optimistic. Claimants are being selected at random so you could receive an invitation for PIP tomorrow or in a years time.
