DLA supersession for 77 year old?

Hello,
Please may we grt some advice.
77yr with COPD and getting DLA low care and high mobility for some 15 years.
Condition worse since Oct 2017, which went on to be pneumonia. Now mainly housebound, cant walk at all without severe breathlessness and under hospital.
Want to get care element looked at again to try to increase, but no actual help needed at night, but problems getting in/out of bed., lives alone. The problems are to do with self care, shopping, cleaning, ironing, cooking and now having to get wiltshire frozen ready meals delivered.
Is this enough to potentially get care increase, as no night care?

Activities such as shopping, cleaning and ironing are not considered for DLA but issue with self care and cooking are,
She does not need to have overnight problems to receive the Medium rate of care.
Be aware that notifying the DWP of a deterioration will result in a full reassessment of her claim and possibly a face to face assessment, the new Decision, whatever it is, will replace the exiting award.
Make sure that you notify the DWP in writing and if possible send it using a tracked post so that you have proof of delivery.

We have been told that as its a supersession we can ask just for the care element to be look at again. Is this correct?
Also is the criteria that if tou cant do things 50% of the time you should be assessed as not been able too?

Yes you can ask for just the Care component to be looked at, make it clear in any letter that there are no changes to her mobility issues and mark the claim form the same.
The DLA requirement is that she has her problems for the majority of the time, this means majority off hours in a day, the majority of days in a week or month, etc.

Posted off supersession letter a few days ago, so the wait begins.
You said to state no change in moboility as she already gets high, but her moboility has decreased and in her supporting letters from GP and consultant it also states this. But as she gets high there is nothing more to be added.
My question is how should I word it on the form as it has changed?

If there has been a change in her conditions then I cannot tell you not to report it but given she is already receiving the highest Mobility award and you say that there has been a deterioration then she is not going to receive anything more, however, if you do report the change then her Mobility will be assessed along with her care needs.
