Hi All, I lost my DLA in June last year, having forgotten my assessment appointment by 12 hours. Despite the fact they are aware of mental health and Memory problems, along with several other conditions, they revused to take into consideration. Things dragged on and dragged on and eventually I was told there was a 26 week wait for court dates. My housing support officer contacted the Tribunals office who told her I was week 25–delighted? No......because she was told the wait has now been upped to 36 weeks. At this rate it will be 1 year since DLA was stopped. So all you lovely people out there embarking the beginning off their journey to tribunal be prepared....and Please don’t give up. I tell so many people about Benefits and Work and their amazing work.
