Most PIP offices will send this text if they have the claimants mobile number.

Just to say that I posted my PIP renewal form on the 25th of April which they received on the following day as I phoned to check.
The office dealing with me is the Barnsley office.
You say most offices text to say the form has arrived, does this mean anything different the fact they haven't texted me regarding mine or just that they don't acknowledge texts?

Most offices text but some offices do not text at all and even those that do, do not text for all events in a claim. So I would not rely on receiving messages this way from the DWP.
Decisions have to be notified in writing.

I also recently filled in a pip review form as my award runs out in January 2018 ,I also received a text exactly the same msg as you have had and I received a letter a couple of days later saying I have to have a face to face assessment on the 14th of may , but they wanted me to travel 25miles to a assessment centre at 8.30 am despite having a assessment centre 8 miles from where I live ? My husband rang and they changed the date to the 17th at the closer centre ,then u got another letter on Saturday saying I have to on the 29th now ?? No explanation for the date change either ,but on ringing them they said they were overbooked on the other date . I'm dreading it as well and I can't sleep or eat for the worry of what it's going to be like because my last exsperiance want a pleasant one at all , I have multiple disabilities and a mountain of support ing evidence so I don't understand why in being called unless the dwp think I can fake m.r i. X-ray and other test results ? . I will post my experience of the review assessment after having it , but think I know more or less how it is going to go anyway . I hope all goes well for you Alison
