DWP Text assessment or not? was created by Countrybumpkin
I've had PIP for three years and had to send back a large renewal questionaire pack by the 8th April. Yesterday 22nd May i received a text saying "Thanks for sending us your 'How your disability affects you' form. We may need you to attend a consultation with a health professional before we make our decision. We'll contact you again if we do. Please call us if any of the details you gave us have changed.
I didnt have to be assessed first time round but they did call my Psychiatric Nurse for 80mins!
I wondered how many people who had received this text had actually had to attend a face to face.....or is it just a automated text to everyone?
Thanks

It's a standard text sent by the DWP, it doesn't mean you will have a face to face.
