Does requesting a recorded session tend to put them against you? Are you better attending in a wheelchair or on a walking frame? Help much appreciated.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Just to make sure you know that you need to provide the recording equipment and that you cannot make a digital recording.
We haven't had any feedback on the forum that recording the assessment causes problems with the assessor.
RE the walking frame vs wheel chair, which would you normally use in a similar situation, visiting an office or your GP?

Only just got a walking frame, so normally use crutch,, or wheelchair depending on any other than very short distance. My daughter felt the frame might offer an alternative somewhere in between. Unsure if they would see the frame as enabling better walking distance and loose me points.
I have had experience of a totally inaccurate report several years ago, with blatant twist of the truth, so would like it recorded but can imagine them resenting this and being really tough as a result.
