PIP and Carers' Allowance

However, when my wife was alive, she was on PIP because of her terminal illness, and she was also allowed to claim CA for my daughter's PIP.
I am now in the process of applying for PIP for myself. If I am successful, will my daughter be allowed to claim PIP as my carer, even though she is on PIP herself and that not being because of a terminal illness?

Providing her doing the caring will not contradict any of the reasons that she has been award PIP in the first place then it should not be a problem.

If she is receiving Contribution Based ESA only then the CA is classed as an overlapping benefit and won't be paid unless it is actually more than the ESA she is receiving, she would still remain entitled to ESA.
If she is receiving any Income Related ESA, then the CA will be paid but treated as income and deducted from ESA(IR) but a Carers Premium (£35/week) will also be paid which should give a net increase in her payments.
