Carers allowance was created by letterboxmum

Hi
Please could you tell me if I have to reapply each year for Carers allowance?

I care for my wife but don't actually receive the carer's Allowance as I get a state pension. I have a Letter of Entitlement from anout 18 months ago.

I was just wondering whether you only have to re apply each year?

No you don't, it's and indefinite award providing the caree continues to receive an enabling benefit.
