ESA support group timescale .

Hi , so I had my medical after my esa50 to see if I would stay in the supper group . I’ve just had my decision today that yes I will stay in the support group but I’ve only be awarded this for 12 months , last time it was 3 hearts but it wasn’t reviewed for 5 years . Ihave degenerative disk disease , hip dysplacia , fibromyalgia and inconitnece of bladder and bowel . I’m not going to ever get any better should I ask for a MR for the timescale or just wait until next year ?

Many thanks for your prompt reply - I rang the dwp and was told I’d get a call back within 48 hours . They rang back after 15 minutes and said the same as you , they told me the decision was made as they thought my conditions would worsen in 12 months so they would rather keep an eye on people’s conditions than just forget about them ! The lady told me not to worry or get upset and said I should forget about things for the next 12 months ! Thanks again x
