Esa home visit was created by Binky
New to this i am in the work related group after going through the tribunal route now I have been asked to attend the assessment my doctor faxed letter saying i couldn't travel they have agreed to a home visit i had a home visit for pip and got standard for both for 10 years really feel i should be in support group any thoughts please

ESA has very specific criteria that the claimant needs to meet, this is particularly the case for the Support Group, have a look at our ESA Claim guides for more information.

Thank you will i get cb esa in the limited capabilities group my condition has got worse if like to know if they always send someone out to do the home visit or may they look at my paper work and send it back to the dwp the stress of waiting is so not fair thanks .

They can do a Paper Based Review but it is rare for this to happen with ESA, it will depend on the information you have supplied in and with your ESA50.
If a PBR is not done then a home visit will only be granted if you have up to date and unambiguous evidence to show that you cannot attend at their offices.

They have agreed i need a home visit any idea how long the wait is to hear a date for that Thank you

Most of the UK is waiting 6-9 months for an assessment at Maximus's offices I would expect home assessments to be taking even longer, I would contact them for an update.
