Hi Maxine
Don’t worry about the delay. In the end I opted not to record it.
My assessment was yesterday. Even though I was only asked to do a couple of physical movements, I am in agony this morning. My back is so sore! I had to downright refuse to do a couple of the bending exercises as the pain was overwhelming. The HP fully understood though. I’ll likely post a full account of my assessment in a separate post, later today.
Did you ring up yet and request a copy of the HP’s report?
Regards
Gerry

No I haven’t as I have looked at all the information and it appears that they don’t do that here in Northern Ireland. You have to foi request to the DfC requesting all the information that they hold on you with regards to your claim. I emailed them a few days ago. They have 40 days to complete them.
I received a text a couple of days ago saying that the assessment had been sent to the decision maker and I would have a reply (normally) in 4 weeks.
So now begins the agonising wait.
Hope you are feeling a little better now. Best of luck with your claim. I have my fingers crossed for you (and I). I’ll update this when I receive the dreaded brown envelope.

Yes Maxine
You're absolutely correct about requesting the Assessor's Report, it doesn't apply to Northern Ireland, my mistake lol
I haven't received any such text but it's still early days for me. The agonising wait is worse than the actual assessment!!
I'll keep fingers crossed for us both too and hope for a positive outcome all round.
Btw, what do you presently receive, if thats not too personal? I get middle rate care component and higher rate mobility component. It'll be interesting to see what I get on PIP!
Anyway, take care Maxine and good luck!

I receive the same as you middle rate care and high rate mobility. To be honest I am very worried about losing my mobility car which is a god send when it comes to hospital appointments. Which are usually in Craigavon. It’s a good hour from here.
You hear such horror stories and today on the radio. Good Morning Ulster I heard a women that had lost her benefits say that her mother’s friend went for a job at Capita. Went through all the interviews etc and when told of the remuneration package was informed that they have £50 taken from their monthly salary for each enhanced. Not sure of the truth of it but that has rattled me.
Good luck I’ll keep updating my post. All the best

I have received the dreaded envelope from DfC and have been informed I have been awarded exactly what I had on DLA
Standard care component and enhanced Mobility. Both until 2022
I am under no illusion that it is in a large part, due to the downloadable advice from this website. I would say it’s the best £20 I have spent in a long time.
Thank you to all at benefits and work you made this daunting exercise easier and allayed many of my fears.

That's terrific news, especially as the PIP criteria as is actually a lot stricter. Well done
