Atos report no decision yet was created by samantha
Hi,
I have requested the accessors report before recieving a decision as i was not happy with the assessment for my 16 year old son. She rushed us and had no clue about mental health or the help children get in school. The report showed that she is a nurse and not a mental health nurse.
I already expected the report to contain twisted words and lies, and yes i was right. However after i calmed down a bit i decided to count the point she gave to my son and it shows that he got 18points for daily living and 12 for mobility. This means enhanced for both. I am obviously very pleased with the results despite her writing that my son could engage with her ( he never spoke to her and sat with his back facing her) and some other things that are completely twisted or left out ( my son cried and punched the wall was extremely distressed).
So now my question is, is this a positive outcome for my son? The fact that the points go in his favour? Or can the decision maker look over this and make his own decision?
Just need a bit of reassurance.
Thank you
