Can someone kindly clarify if, since receiving payback for ESA (IR), that this now supercedes intial placement of ESA contribution based. VIP for other things, such as prescription charges, as the Government is not paying back the cost of these items.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
Providing you remain entitled to Income Related ESA as a top-up to your ESA(CB), the easiest way to check this is to see if your latest ESA Entitlement Letter says
Disability Income Guarantee, or
Money because you are severely disabled
then you are receiving ESA(IR) and this entitles you to free prescriptions, dental care, etc.
