I get PIP lower rate for both bits. I do not work , my other income is an occupational pension. If I was to get a job do the Income tax people and national insurance tell the PIP you have started working or do they find out in some way ?

PIP is not a work-related benefit so there is no specific requirement for you to contact the DWP if you start work but it may disadvantage you if you do not and your starting work is considered to the result of an improvement in your conditions.
The DWP and HMRC do work together to match benefit claimants that are working.
