Dear Gordon, I've just read the ESA50 declaration page again. I vaguely remember seeing some advice about withdrawing consent for the DWP to inform my GP about outcome of WCA & hence pressurising them not to send in fit notes during an appeal process. How do I do this please? Something to do with the new Data Protection law. Thank you

I haven't seen what you are referring to but the (standard) letter that is sent does say that if the claimant is appealing the Decision then the GP should feel free to issue Fit Notes. As far as I am aware this letter is only sent if a new claim for ESA fails, I don't believe it is issued with a reassessment.
Gordon
