is it normal for call about pip claim from DWP? was created by fastmoggy
Hi, yesterday we had a text message from DWP stating that they had received the assessment from a F2F we had. Is this a normal 'update' or is this perhaps just an acknowledgement because we asked for the PA4 report which they didn't have two weeks after the initial assessment?
Thanks in advance for any replies regarding this confusing issue, in 10 years not happened before!

It's standard if they have your mobile number it should be followed by a letter saying the same.

Been over a week since then and no follow up letter!
The problem we have here that the postal service tends to be a hit or miss if they post when they have or when they passing your house/street!
Oh well, guess we will have to wait, mind you the brown envelope always comes on a Friday or Saturday for the past 10 years!

We have had one member report that they were told by the DWP that a Decision could take 10 weeks.
