home medical assessment refused

my doctor wrote a letter saying my oh cannot leave the house due to agoraphobia apparently this letter is not detailed enough? but only told me when i rang to cancel an appointment no letter nothing to say it was not acceptable..so they have refused a home visit and still sending him appointment letters so i now have to re ask the gp to do another letter and bearing in mind he cannot visit the gp it makes it a bit difficult. anyone else encountered this problem ? and what is my best option ? thanks in advance.

i also requested a home assessment ,i was being reviewd for a curent award 12 mth before it ends and previously had a home assessment without even asking for one ,,i have agrophobia as well so this time i rung to ask if i could have a home assesment because of my condition ,,i was told on phone if i can send in dr letter stating this they would reconsider pending on the dr letter , i payed £20 for d letter and sent it off recorded delivery ,as ide cancelled one appointment within speaking to them i recieved anothe appointment to attend a f2f ,i rang several times in anticipation for there decision and the day before my appointment still hadnt heard back from them , as i couldnt miss the 2nd appointment or they would close my claim ,i went which was 18 miles away ,at the appointment i asked why ide not een granted a home assesment as heard nothing back ,the lady that did my assessment said ,because ide stated on my review form that i can sometimes get aggresive because of my severe anxiety is probaly the reason a home assesment was not granted ,, well they could of said that from the egining if that the case instead of me wasting paying for a dr letter when they knew they wouldnt of granted in anyway ,,
